Saint Martin of Tours also known as San Martin Caballero or Martin the Merciful was born in year 316 in Hungary.
One day his father enrolled him in the Roman army and on a cold day during winter a man unclothed approached him freezing.
He begged him for warmth and Saint Martin cut his cloak in half and gave it to him while he kept the other half.
Later in the evening he saw it was Jesus Christ as the begger and heard him say to Angels
"Martin, as yet only a catechumen, has covered me with his cloak".
He was then baptized and left the army.
Saint Martin later on built a monastery in Tours, France.
He destroyed anything that symbolized the devil such pegan temples and all evil. He preached the gospel and many that had sought him saw miracles.

Prayer to Saint Martin of Tours
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Blessed Saint, You were born under pagan ways but since your childhood you were chosen to be a Prince of the Church and, as Bishop of Tours, many souls were redeemed and liberated from the satanic forces through your
prayers, austerities and blessings.
We humbly ask for your intercession before Our Lord Jesus Christ because we want to be worthy of the grace and mercy of the Holy Spirit that lead us from darkness to light into the eternal
kingdom, forever and ever.
Amen.
